Stay requirements in Tier 1 General during first 3 years

Hey Guys,

Can anyone suggest what are the stay/residency requirements for a Tier 1 General applicant during the 3 years of the EC period which will guarantee a smooth transition to the 2 year extension.

I mean can I visit my home country Canada for as many days as I want during the first 3 years or are there restrictions?

The below list if for Indefinite Leave to remain/PR, which will be changed sooner

• You should not be more than 90 days out of UK, at one go! (There are exceptions. If you are out due to an assignment and you earn your salary in the UK, then you may be able to produce a letter to HO.)
  You should not be out of country for more than 180 days in 5 years
