When new tier 1 general policy will be implememted in 2010

Post by cornucobia » Wed Dec 16, 2009 8:39 pm

Hi all,

I got a question about new tier1 general policy. Can any seniors help me about this? thanks in advance.

tier 1 general is likely to be changed as MAC released their evaluation report in 4th December. I guess the HO would accept their recommendations as usual.
When HO will formally release the new tier1 policy ?

In their website, it says‘The government will announce whether it accepts the recommendations in early 2010.’ It seems not very clear.

Many thanks:)

You answered your own question, not until early 2010 at the earliest if at all.

If it's implemented then the HO will announce when in early 2010, no point trying to second guess them especially with an election next year.

Thx for you reply.

Some said that this will be implemented within 8 weeks according to how HO responses to MAC report before. So a little worried about that :(

If it's going to be implemented then i'd guess that it would be implemented sooner rather than later, however no one knows for certain until the HO make an announcement.
