Guys,

I am going to apply Tier 1 dependent visa for my wife and little bit confused with a point, hope u guys can help me.

I will be traveling to india on 27th of Jan and by that time i will not receive my Jan10 salary slip and Bank statement.I am plannign to apply for her visa in india sometime during 10th feb and as i will be in india i will not have my Jan10 salary slip and Bank statement.So to catter with this what i am doing is for the salary slip i am getting a letter on company letter head from HR that my salary for the month of jan 10 is XXXX and for bank statement i will print out it online on 20th feb and get it attested by the concened bank in London ( it will be a 20 days statement not for whole jan).WIll this be fine and will they consider this way????

PLease help !!!!!!!!!!!!

For dependents visa.. Maintenance funds are more important than the payslips.. (i dont mean u dont require them)..

In your case since you are applying around 10Feb and you are in UK till 27th Jan..

Call your bank around 15-18th Jan and ask them to send you the Original Bankstatements till that date (15th or 18th jan) to your home address and if you can receive them in 5-7days time you can atleast have the bankstatement dated 15th Jan and this will suffice for the Maintenance funds requirement that the bankstatement is less than 1month on the day you apply (10th Feb);

This will save u from getting online print, sign/stamp from bank;

regarding the payslips, it is fine if you submit last 6months payslips (not mandatory though)..

Originals is lot better and will buy you peace of mind...
