Help ! Anyone has applied for Tie 1 HSW from US ?

I am currently working in US, and applying for the HSW Tier 1. Can anyone applied from US before give me some advices ? I think I have all the document ready, but wanted to double check with someone here already got approved.

Original Degree Certificate
Previous Earnings: 01/01/2009 - 12/31/2009 - Will the claim period be okay if I send out the document by 3/15/2010 ?
(a) Stamped and Signed Payslips for 12 months (01/01/2009-12/31/2009) -
(b) Stamped Bank Statements for 12 months
(c) W-2 (Tax Document )
Maintenance Funds:
(a) Stamped Bank Statements I recevied by mail each month from Bank .

Please help me to check if I miss anything ?

There are some questions I am still a little confused. Do I have to have all the bank statments stamped and signed, even if they are official and I received by mail each month?

Do I need to register with local policy and submit any document relates to criminal history to support the answers on the application form ?

When is the best time to submit the application, before attend biometric data collection apppointment or after ? Is there any fingerprint document I need to submit after fingerprint ?

What kind of mail should I send by ? Should I include any return stampled envelop along with the application ?

If someone can give me a complete list of what they've done and what the final documents have sent out, that will be very very helpful. Thanks for all of you taking the time reading my post and helping me out. Billion thanks in advance.
