How to find the status of my application form.

Hi Folks,

With all your support i managed to send my application form.
Thanks a lot for this.

I have applied within UK on 29th of MAY 2010.

Could you please let e know how to find the status of my application form.

The only way is to contact UKBA and ask them.

Ok. Thanks mate.
My amount got deducted from my account. Does that mean my application is being processed now????

It just means that the payment has been taken! It may be days (or even weeks) before your application is assigned to a caseworker for evaluation.

If you call UKBA within 14 weeks, you'll be asked to wait for 14 weeks before enquiring about the status. Even when you call after 14 weeks, there is no guarantee that UKBA will update you on the status of your application. So, best to sit back and relax, and hope that you get a decision soon.

yes, noticed that the fees were deducted the day the application reached UKBA. But going by the waiting times section on UKBA site, my application would come up for consideration only sometime next week(hopefully)
