How to Sponsor your MOM & SIS to live in UK after Tier1?

Hi all,

I got my Tier 1 General on 1-June-2010 and am flying to London in coming July 2010. But i have some queries. Hope i will get the expert opinion as always from this fantastic forum.

1. I want my mom and sis to live with me in UK at any cost. I want to know how can i sponsor them or what is the legal procedure to do that and under which category ? Plz tell me in details.

2. What is the time limit (exact days) in which i must fly to UK after getting my Tier 1 G. I got mine on 01-June-2010 and i am still in my native country.


Gurus plz help.. as u all did in getting my Tier 1 G.

As far as I am aware you can not have your mum and sister as your dependant. They can come here on visit visa to see you.


2. What is the time limit (exact days) in which i must fly to UK after getting my Tier 1 G. I got mine on 01-June-2010 and i am still in my native country.
There is no time limit but make sure you are aware of ILR requirement that you're likely to get after 5 years.
