Tier-1 Dependent Maintenence Fund

Hi

I got my Tier-1 in Jan2010, and I will travel to Belfast in sep 2010. Meanwhile, I applied for my wife as a Dependent. VFS did not take our application as I did not show the maint fund of 2800GBP for mine.
Now, my question is , Once I go to UK , do i need to show any fund for mine apart from the dependent. I plan to apply for my wife within few weeks of my arrival in UK.
Please help me on this. Thanks

Yes, you have to show the maintainence for yourself and your dependent while filing the application for your dependent..good luck!!
