I am applying for UK Visa under Tier 1 (General Migrant). I am married and have a kid. But they would join me in UK only if I am able to get a job. In the personal details form, for Q 5.1, should I mention that they would join me later and give their details. If so, then in the points based Appendix, Page 7, I will have to include maintenance funds for them.

Can I still indicate in the form that they would join me later and just mention GBP 2800 in Q 7.1 for maintenance.

This had been asked may a time on this forum. The popular consensus seems to be show NO for both your spouse and kid. Spouse details should be filled in any case. No need for any story in section 7. Once you get a job, you can show the necessary funds maintained and apply for their visa. But remember that your funds should also be maintained.

Should the details for kid also be filled ?

Also, do I need to send a proof of the relationship, like original Marriage Certificate and copy of passport for kid along with the application ?
