Tier-1 visa VS Tier-2 Visa

Tier-1 visa VS Tier-2 Visa

I'm holding tier-1 visa but my employer going to do work permit for me..If I go with tier-2 visa will my tier-1 visa get cancel ?

You can only hold one visa at a time - your Tier 1 is cancelled if you are granted a Tier 2 visa.

I'd also love to know that. Don't let them do that or you'd lose your ability to work somewhere else if anything goes wrong with the company.
To answer your question yes your T1 would be cancelled
