Is there a time limit restriction within which one has to enter UK after getting the EC?
I got my HSMP EC on 4th of May.

Answer is No....but you have to enter within the 12 months validity of the Visa - the longer you leave it the more difficult it will be to get a renewal
Where there is a will there is a way.
