When to travel to UK?

Please guide me as i applied on 13th December, 2010
from VFS ISLAMBAD & today i got visa granted but Initial Entry Date is 03-Jan-2011

Now i want to know is it mandatory to enter UK in 28 Days? If i dont enter in 28 Days what will be effect?

Congratulations !

Actually 28 days thing comes into equation when you apply for ILR after 5 years. So, if you have plans to stay here for 5 years then it is recommended that you travel before 28 days.

Please confirm me as initial entry date printed on passport is 01/03/2011.Is this 01-MAR or 3rd JAN

UK uses dd/mm/yyyy. It is the 1st of March.
