documents for tier1 general work permit visa

Hi All,

I am planning to apply for Tier1 (general) from UK. Now I want to show a part of my income from India apart from my income in UK. I would like to know what are the documents required for the income showed from India.

1st supporting document (for the work performed in India) will be my bank statement.

Now regarding the 2nd Document I dont have the pay slips for the income in India as it is a consultancy job in a contract.

So the 2nd supporting document (for the work performed in India) will be the letter from the company for which I have worked.

My question is if it is necessary to provide a letter from my accountant and if so is there a particular format. I shall be highly obliged if get some guidance in this regards urgently.

Please help me out.

The documents one needs to submit must be in line with those specified in the policy guidance and according to the source of earnings (employment / self-employment.

The country where income was earned - India or UK or some other - doesn't make a difference!

But need to clarify the thing a bit further please. Might appear really stupid.

Regarding the second document.....page 23 paragraph 139.point iii) says Letter from the applicant’s (previous and/or present) employer(s) (or in the case of winnings, the relevant awarding body) confirming that he/she has received the exact amount claimed.I have this letter and completes 2 evidence regarding the income in India.

Still do I need a letter from the accountant since am self employed and if so is there a specific format. I understand that the account should be regd to different institutes but apart from that any other format ?????
