Question Regarding Past Earning

Post by gautat » Wed Apr 05, 2006 12:18 pm

Experts,

Need your comments regarding Past Earning Criteria. I work in India and planning to apply for HSMP. As per given in hsmp guidance note I need to submit 2 evidences to prove my earning for last 12 months. I am planning to show my last 12 months payslips stamped by authorized person. I have got Income Tax return for (Apr 2004-Mar 2005) however my last 12 months earning doesnt fall within this IT Return certificate as i will be applying in april 2006. Current financial year's FORM-16 (TDS certificate) i will be getting from my employer somewhere in May or June and then will have to file IT return.

My question to group is can I show bank statement instead of IT return as 2nd evidence and Letter from Accountant
showing last 12 months salary as 3rd evidence.

In this case do I need to present my old IT return (SARAL) certificate as well.

Is there any one in group has gone through same scenario before and awarded points. I need to make sure before applying
that i must get this point else my application will be rejected.

Please give your opinions.

Thanks
