2 questions: (1) Photocopies required? (2) Previous earnings

Just 2 questions to all those who have had success with their same day Tier 1 (General) extension applications.

(1) I have an in-person appointment at the Liverpool PEO for submission of my Tier 1 visa extension application. Am carrying all the original copies with me. Do I need to also carry photocopies of the original documents?

(2) I have claimed points for only the 6 months out of the entire 12 month period, that one is eligible to claim for. The UKBA website doesn't stipulate that points need to be claimed for the entire 12 month period, however I just wanted to ask you guys if claiming points only for the 6 month period could cause problems for the application?
