Tier-1 general Visa - self employed

I have confused with self employed and working with own limited comany. What is the difference between these?

I have read Tier-1 general guidence about document requirements for self employed. It says many documents. Do anybody have experience with Tier -1 general visa for self employed (working with own limited company).

What accountant letter I have to get?

I am receiving salary from my business also dividend. My wife also a 20% share holder and I am paying salary also to her.
