Tier 1(G) Application pending

Post by anotherguy » Wed Jun 29, 2011 7:40 pm

Dear members,
You guys are doing a great job helping many of the applicants successfully get their applications approved.

I have recently made an in-country application to switch to Tier 1 General. Here are some more details :
Category changing from: Tier 2 (General)
Last Date of leave to remain: 1 April, 2012
Date application posted: 21/03/2011
Acknowledgement letter received: 02/04/2011
Biometric letter: 09/04/2011
Date Biometrics taken: 19/05/2011( With family )
Date documents recieved: Awaiting
Date Biometric card received: Awaiting

Looking at the timelines thread most of the applicants who had given their biometrics even until 31st May have received their passports. I gave mine on 19th May.

Does it happen that the applications are not necessarily processed in the order of biometric enrolment or do you think the HO has held back my application for further verification ?

None of my employer / Immigration consultant / myself have been contacted for verification/queries.

My application doesn't involve any self-employment related earnings.

I am starting to get worried. Any insights or advice would be very helpful.
