HSMP VISA EXTENSION without a single entry in the UK

Can you kindly guide me about my case.

I got my hsmp visa stamped in march 2009 but i never visited UK.

Now i want to extend my HSMP visa.

Is it possible that i got my HSMP visa extended from outside UK ?

My earnings outside UK can qualify me for the extension ?

Is it necessary to visit UK to extend my visa ?

Yes, you have to apply from within the UK in order to extend - it cannot be done outside.

Mulderpf is right. You need to come to UK to get the extension. When you apply for extension uplift rate wont be applied.

And be prepared to have little questioning at airport to give reasons for coming to UK in the final couple of months of your 2 year visa.

Also note, that if you are entering the UK solely for the purposes of extending the visa and then leaving the country again, you are not using the visa for its intended purpose and it could be cancelled and you would never see the inside of the UK.
