Tier-1 General extension (Earnings)

Hi,

Currently I am in UK and I have to apply for Tier-1 extension next month.

But for last 6 months I was working in India and got salary in INR. So, when I claim my earning for last 12 months can I show the earnings I received in INR?

Or

For extension, is it always that earnings should be in GBP? Kindly confirm.

You can show the earnings in INR too but you cannot use the uplift ratio. if the GBP + INR(converted on the current day rate to GBP) arrives to th eamount you require then you can extend your visa.
