I CAME INTO THE UK ON A STUDENT VISA IN 2002, I THEN APPLIED FOR THE UNDER 28 HSMP LAST YEAR BEFORE MY 28TH BIRTHDAY, IT WAS APPROVED AND I WAS GRANTED A YEAR VISA IN JANUARY THIS YEAR. I WAS IN THE PROCESS OF LOOKING FOR JOBS WHEN SOMETHING TRAGIC HAPPENED TO ME, I LOST MY MUM IN FEBUARY AND HAD TO TRAVEL BACK IMMEDIATELY TO MY HOME COUNTRY NIGERIA. BEING THE FIRST CHILD OF MY PARENTS AND WITH MY SIBLINGS, I HAD TO STAY WITH MY FAMILY. UNTIL RECENTLY I THOUGHT I COULD TRAVEL OR STAY OUTSIDE THE UK FOR 6 MONTHS, I DIDNT KNOW IT WAS 3 MONTHS IN A YEAR. HOWEVER NOW I DO WANT TO COME BACK TO THE UK BUT I HAVE BEEN OUT OF THE UK SINCE FEBUARY 2006. WHAT DO YOU THINK WILL HAPPEN TO ME? I AM REALLY SAD.

Sorry abou the bereavement ...

No problrm staying away for more than 3 months...

just get back and get a job and get your visa renewed
