Application for HSMV processing can I continue working?

Hi, I have just joined this forum and I would be grateful if you could please help me. I am sorry if someone has already asked the following questions......

I am currently working in the UK on a Workingholiday Visa, which allows me to live in the UK for 2 years; however I can only work for 1 year. I have applied for a Highly Skilled Migrant Visa, which is currently being processed. I will have been working for 1 year next week. Can I continue working, while waiting for my HSMV to hopefully be approved? If not, can I start working once it has been approved and I am waiting for the FLR to be approved.

If anyone can assist me I would be very grateful.

Submitting a HSMP application does not give you any additional rights to work nor does applying for FLR. Once the 12 months work is up you will have to wait for the Leave to Remain to be approved before you can start work.
