Dependant visa

Post by h222 » Sun Oct 02, 2011 10:34 am

Hi,

Im in UK on tier 1 and i want to apply for my wife and 2 kids in pakistan. I dont understand why the gerry visa service asks for too many bank statements. i have 3 dependants. they said i need 4 original bank statements one for main applicant and 3 for dependants. Even its very difficult to get one original statement from uk bank. how can i provide 4 :( and even the ukba does not mention this thing that you need the number of bank statements equal to the number of dependants.. anybody can put light on this issue...

The person who dealt with your enquiry is wrong and this, unfortunately, is a common problem with VACs (and being told this by me may not make you feel any more comfortable). There is no need to provide multiples of original paperwork when separate applications are bundled and cite common paperwork. Send in one set of original documents and then copies (just regular photocopies) of everything for each application. Furthermore, asking the PBS migrant for evidence of their maintenance is only necessary when the PBS migrant (aka the main applicant) is applying at the same time as dependants. You have your leave and are not making an application so don't need to cover your maintenance for these applications by your dependants which, clearly, are being made separately from you.

They are not permitted to refuse applications on this basis. If you have done as I have suggested with your evidence then simply insist and say that further impediment on the part Gerrys will result in a complaint to the UKBA.

im from pakistan and i want my nikkah nama to be translated by the best professional translator in pakistan? some people get it translated by notary public but my visa consultant said that it should be professional translator and translated nikka nama should be in the letter head of the translation company.
