urgent help! T1 general extension aplication

Maybe I made the stupid mistake when post my application in post office.

I used royal mail sepcial delivery, but I used the courier address yesterday.

My visa valid untill 7/10/2011, i track my application via royal mail website, it deliveried and signed by someone this morning 7:23am.

I check the guidance, if post the application, the date is when you post it.
when use the courier, the date is when it is deliveried.

So could someone can make it clear, what date is my application date, 06/10/2011 or 07/10/2011?

Is 07/10/2011 valid for my stay here?

I am justg wondering who can sign the delivery so early at morning? 7:23am, so UK board Agency go to work very early everyday?
