Tier1 G Extn-Maintainance-Offshore or non UK bank A/C

Hello,

I'm new to this forum. I've a question on Bank Statements to be shown for Maintainance funds.

Problem is late arrival in UK and that means it would be less than 90 days since the UK Bank Account was opened by the time the extention application for Tier 1 General needs to be submitted. Hence cannot show this for proof of maintainance funds. So can an Offshore account in Jersey or non UK bank account (India) be shown?

Would be greateful for help on this from the forum as I've tried to search through the forum and even wrote to UKBA but that din't help.

Any bank anywhere in the world, provided the bank is regulated by the central regulatory authority of the country in which you hold an account in the bank.
