Bank Statement required

i am about to start my HSMP processing. Could any 1 answer these questions for me?

1. I have been a software develper for about 6yrs now but have a degree in zoology. No professional qualifications.

2. Must provide bank statement to prove my income as i intend to present pay slips on letter head signed by HR head and letter of reference from employer.

3. Also, do i have to produce my tax documents.

Hi,

Don't have the answer to Q1, but here's my answers to Q2 and Q3 (based on my understanding of the caseworker guidelines):-

1. If the tax return you wish to submit doesn't cover the correct 12 months it is of no use as an independent evidence.

2. Bank statements can only be used as evidence of past earnings to cover any "missing" payslips, but not as independent evidence on their own.
