Hi debz,
I thought we only allow to book the appointment for extension 6 weeks before the Visa expire date. But it seems have you have booked it successfully over 8 weeks.
Does anyone know how early could we book the extension appointment? Does 8 weeks is the earliest ?

Thanks

Need Suggestions!!!

Post by Zataak » Tue Mar 17, 2009 10:04 pm

Hi dear members,

I need your suggestions regarding my TIER 1 case.
I am thinking to file my case this month but i am already taking a solicitor's service to make sure nothing will go wrong in my case. I am just going to ask the questions that is only relevant to this thread.

I was on a student visa, i finished my MSc degree, then i got IGS for 1 year, and now this February i got PSW for 1 year, and now i am thinking to switch to TIER 1 general. Now the things i am worrying about.

1- I am not doing any professional job. I used to work in Sainsburys (part time) and now in a hotel as a receptionist(full-time). Combining my earnings from both Sainsburys and Hotel, in last one year, is 20,000 pounds that qualify me for the 15 points that is required in my care. Is there will be a problem if i show my earnings from two jobs?

2- Second i must have to apply before june else there could be problem in proving my earning to 20,000 pounds. What do you thinking whether shall i apply through Inperson or by post. As i think so its really hard to get an appointment as whenever i called PEO, all the operators are always busy and didnt get a chance ever.

So i just want your suggestions, looking at my case what do you think there could be a harm if i apply by post??

I will really appreciate your replies.
Thanks.
