I've got the same situation, where I am applying on 28th May, and my statement date(for both current and saver accounts) is 26th. I need to get statement printed by the bank on their letter head, with logo(and stamped as an additional measure). Better to be safe now than be sorry later.

Cheers,
Sai

Sai - You have plenty of time to act on. When did you have start to maintaining the balance? If possible why dont you show the maintanance fund from say 20th February till 20th May 2009. Req your statement on 21st May and have it in few days. Apply on 28th May. The reason - Try not to create a complication for yourself as well as case worker. If you have a paper statement sent to you in post - I dont thin kyou need anything else from bank at all

Thats correct raxs1983. I am maintaining above 800+533 GBP from 16Jan for me and my wife, so worries. I was planning to get the statement a week before.

Cheers,
Sai
