Please can someone advise what needs to be mentioned on the letter of employment from Employer?

You need to put your question into some context. This is the Tier 1 forum so it's not immediately obvious why and for what purpose such a letter might be necessary.

Hi,

The letter of employment for the purpose of showing to the Home office that I am currently working in the UK and my salary are from the same company and to confirm my Job role.

Do I really need this letter?

You don't have to be employed for this immigration category. Your job role is not relevant. All that matters is that you have a source of income; sufficient to score the necessary points and proof of this from two independent sources. For salaried employment, this can be achieved through bank statements and payslips. A letter will not necessarily help or embellish that requirement if you have those aforementioned documents.

Also I receive my payslips online, do i need to get them attested by HR department in my office?

Yes, online payslip printouts need to be authenticated by the employer with a sign, seal and contact details for verification.

Hi,

My Annual Salary from August 2011 to Mar 2012 was £35500 and from April 2012 onwards Annual Salary is £36390.

Based on the above my monthly Basic Salary is £2958.34 per month for 7 months and £3032.50 per month for 5 months which totals to £35870.

Every month I contribute towards PF which gets deducted from my Basic salary, so the Gross salary after PF Contribution and before tax is £34436

Please advise which amount will UKBA consider for my visa application, £35870 or £34436?

I need to be in £35000 - £39999 bracket to qualify.

"Your" contribution to PF is part of your "gross salary".

Thanks, does that mean they will take into consideration 35870 while calculating my Gross salary.
on my salary slip it shows up as follows.

Annual Salary 35500
Basic Pay 2958.34
Pension Adj(my contribution) -118.83
Gross 2840
Net 2116.65

Which might look bit confusing to the case worker and he/she might end up taking Gross i.e. 2840 for earnings calcs instead of 2958.35.

Please advise if I need to get any sort of letter from my employer in regards to this.

Thanks SushDmehta, its just that I am getting confused more and more about this topic in various foums on this website and hence getting confused,

So finaly the conclusion is that they will take into consideration 2958.34 for calculating my points for previous earnings which is my Basic Pay. Am I right?

Hi,

I requested my bank to send me the bank statements for my Current account and savings account for the pupose of showing my previous earnings and maintenance funds respectively.

They have sent me the statemen for current Account (to show my previous earnings)

However have not yet sent me the savings account statement even after requesting them twice.

the girl on the phone suggested that I can get the statements printed out from the branch which has my Name and Address, Account numbr and Sort code mentioned on it as wll as the day it was printed and he paper has a logo of the bank as well however they cant stamp th statemnt at the branch.

Please can some one advise if these printouts from th bank will be considered as documentary evidence towards claiming points for Maintenance funds.

Try a different branch or even same branch but see a different person, it all depends on individuals that who's serving you.

You're their customer and they are printing the statements by themselves so they should stamp/sign it.

I have had mine printed in the bank by bank manger/stamped and signed.
