Tier 1 VISA Extension for Dependent

Hi.
I am filing my Tier 1 VISA renewal next week. Could someone pls advise:

1- For dependent kid (5 year old) any undertaking required from either me or my wife that I am filing his VISA as a dependent.

2- I am claiming for my salary from 1st Sept 2011 to 31st August 2012 however my August month payment has only released on 12th September. So I am showing Bank statement from 1st Sept 2011 to 12th Sept 2012. Would it be a problem?

Pleadse advise, any help would be really appreciated.

The guidance says that you can only claim for a continuous 12 month period which would mean - 01-Sep-2011 to 31-Aug-2012. If you absolutely need that earnings to reach the points threshold, I would recommend that you get a letter from HR saying that the pay is for August 2012

Thanks for your help.. I have got the letter from Employer that payment made in September is actually for the month of August 2012. So I am showing statement from 1st Sept 2011 to 11th Sept 2012.

For the dependent kid, has anyone did some special documentation like letter from Spouse that she doesn't have any objection?

You do not need such letter from spouse.

Regarding your Bank statement, it is normal that you work in August and get salary in September if you get monthly. Remember if you have been getting monthly salary from beginning, then the salary which is shown in your September 2011 statement will not be included because it is your August 2011 salary. If this is the case, you even do not need to include your September 2011 statement and therefore you can provide your statement from 01 Oct 2011 to 12 Sep 2012.

Remember Period of Employment is important which must not be more than 12 months. No matter when you are getting payment for this period of employment. So the payment date can always fall outside this 12 month period.
