UK Tier 1 (General) Dependent Visa REFUSED

Post by ravideep29 » Thu Nov 21, 2013 2:23 pm

I have submitted my wife's visa application in VFS Delhi centre on 5th November, 13. Today we got decision that they refused her visa due to lack of evidence of relationship.
I have submitted Marriage certificate, photographs, my phone bill, Wedding card as evidence but still it get refused.

I need suggestion, should I appeal on the decision by providing more evidence like honeymoon pics and travel details.
And how much time does it take to get decision on appeal.

Or worst is, can I re apply by providing them additional documents and clarification on top of those documents which I submitted earlier.

Please help me.

Hi,

Provide strong evidences that you and your wife are in contact.
You can provide your joint bank account statements, your call details to your wife, the email and skype conversations, etc.

There is no end to the list of documents to show that you both are in a relationship.

If you can afford, go for a new application or else you can appeal with the above documents to prove your relation.

I am only worried about the time taken by BHC on appeal.

Is there is any chance to get the decision in 3-4 weeks?

Also, should I appeal from India or from UK on representative/ sponsor basis? which will take less time?

You have to apply in UK only there is no option of applying in India.

Make sure you send them the details at the earliest, so it can get in pipeline.
Fees will be 80£, application can be submitted by representative (which can be u) and your signature would do.

Give as much as proofs that you have available.

Dont expect any decision before 8 - 10 weeks

All the best

hi ravi,

sorry about the refusal.

i will be applying for my wifes tier1 dependent visa from mumbai or pune in dec. I will be submitting similar documents like marriage certificate, itemised telephone bills, chat transcript, photos, etc. your case has made me worried a bit as my marriage was a small function and we were not able to go for honeymoon as i had limited leaves. if you are ok can you please specify exact wordings in the refusal letter? Also if you are ok to share then can you please confirm if your marriage was arranged or love marriage?

please keep us posted about your appeal and all the best

regards

If you provide required documentation then you should be fine. Try to provide as much evidence as you can to prove your marriage is genuine and please try to provide covering letter mentioning you did not find enough time for honeymoon etc., as you had limited annual leaves specifically taken for marriage purpose.

Hi,

It is arrange marriage. And we are in touch with each other since dec 2012. Things u have mentioned are enough to prove it and also don't forget to mention in cover letter that how u guys met and how much time u guys have taken to know each other because in my case, their only concern is 'Prove that this marriage is subsisting'. Provide them mix of photographs u guys clicked on different occasions. I have submitted a cover letter describing each and everything about all the evidences I have attached with it.

Hi
Thanks for sharing ur Wife's appeal experience.
Im also in the same boat.
Got refusal on not giving proof of contact
Eachother.
I have appeal against this decision with emails since
Before and after marriage, phone call logs, viber call log,
Skype history and our Internet accounts profile
And recent photographs taken during his visit 2nd time
After our marriage.
Hopefully entry entrance manager will overturn
The ECO's decision in our case as well.
I have submitted appeal and tribunal got it on 30th
Dec 2013
Fee taken on 16jan 14.
After that waiting for outcome.
