T1 General - Applying Visitor visa for mom- 2 years

Hi there..

I am on T1 Gen till end of Jun 2015 which is almost 1 year from now and I would like apply for General Visitor visa for my in laws for 2 years, will the application be accepted because my visa is going to expire in 1 year.?

Or should restrict my self for 6 months visa for the time being or submit family visa after ILR.

Did any one come across such situation..

If I apply for 2 years visa will they reject it or give only 6 months visa or will they give a valid visa till Jun 2015 the day when my Visa expires..?

You do know 2 year visit visa is still for 6 months only? Just it has 2 year expiry....
