URGENT: How long we can delay entering UK after EC(Visa) ?

I got the UK entry clearence VISA under old HSMP rules in April 08. I have still NOT been able to move to UK.

Is there any restrictions like we have to move to UK within 3 mothns/6 months to UK after getting the VISA ? I searched in google and could not find answers to this question.
Could any one plz. post the appropriate links to UK HSMP EC/VISA policies ?
