Tier 1 qurey for new relating to new rules

Hi,

I got my Tier 1 visa last year under the existing rules.

Rules are changing from 6 April, and I am wondering that when I will be applying for the extension in a couple of years time then will I be eligible to apply under the current rules or I will have to satisfy the new rules of that time!?

as per the new doc below, you should be eligible to apply for extention under existing rules.

Good part is that new policty does not impact the existing T&C. Its only for new applications post 06th April.

I heard they have increased the salary criteria for applications submitted after april 06 2010.

Does any one know what the salary requirements are as per new rules?

they have allocated 0 points for anyone with annual earnings of less than GBP 25000 ! How bad!!
