Tier 1 extension - Recent bank statements

Post by viper555 » Mon Mar 28, 2011 9:40 am

Hello,

I'm applying for TIER1 extension in couple of weeks time. The bank statements (to show maintenance fund )I have is till March 10th. If I apply in the first week of April, is that a problem? Or the question is how recent the bank statements should really be?

Many thanks for your help.

The statement below from the Tier 1 Guidance Notes anwers your question.

i) Personal bank or building society statements covering a consecutive 90 day period: The most recent statement must be dated no more than one calendar month before the date of application.

For you that means on or before 9th April.
