Recent transactions printed on Bank stationary at Branch

Post by jollygo123 » Wed Feb 15, 2012 9:38 pm

Hi All,

Since I am yet to receive the latest statment, I went to HSBC Branch and asked them to print statements for me. They have printed the same on their letter head which only has the LOGO and name. The bank statments were NOT signed or stamped by them. Will this be acceptable by HO.

Please advice. Is there any alternative?

Am worried as they said that the orgininal statements take upto 10 days.

Rgds

Dont worry about it, HSBC does not provide anything in writing that you hold sufficient funds in your account. It prints and provides the statement without stamping. That is their standard procedure.

I applied for my wife's visa with the same kind of statements from HSBC London on 27th Jan and without any problems got the visa.

Ideally, you should be fine. Best of Luck for the visa.

Well a friend just got his HSBC statements printed on Bank stationary, stamped in Salisbury.

It appears that this policy is different at each branch.
