employment

Post by rippy » Fri Sep 01, 2006 8:59 pm

hi,
I am applying for my p.r-skilled worker from buffalo visa post as I'm currently on a temporary visa in canada. I want to know that :

a. Does processing time really reduced when you file your application with arranged employment factor ie. work pemit ?

b. What if I apply wihout arranged factor and then later I got arranged employment or issued a work permit ?
I have heard that before initial assessment time one can submit the necessary documents for arranged factor . Is it true?

c. Further what are the supporting work experience documents that I have to submit while application.

Thank you

No. The only thing is that you get extra points and that is it. Your medicals and background check can make your processing time increase if you have a 'can of worms' or needs retesting based on medical condition.
b. What if I apply wihout arranged factor and then later I got arranged employment or issued a work permit ?
No. Still the same answer above. If you were out of CND, the only advantage is that your work permit would allow you to go and work whilst you wait for the PR. Since you are already there, all you have to do is sit in and wait for the 18-24 months waiting period.
I have heard that before initial assessment time one can submit the necessary documents for arranged factor . Is it true?
Yes. Not only AEO can be submitted but any change in circumstances during the process (eg.marriage/divorce/childbirth/employment/education etc) can be updated. Note that, this would be applicable to old applicants and Buffalo applicants only since the SAP has kicked in since September 01, 2006.
c. Further what are the supporting work experience documents that I have to submit while application.
Read the manual of CIC's website.

Good luck.
