Want to Marry US ex-Boyfriend after a recent reconciliation

Post by tawana12 » Mon Feb 12, 2007 5:12 pm

My boyfriend and I broke up in August 2005 (after 4 years together) at which point I moved back to the UK. Unfortunately he was involved in a serious car accident in August 2006 and since then we have rekindled the romance and have decided to get married. I know that it sounds a bit insane but the decision HAS been made with alot of thought behind it. The problem I am facing is that because of the breakup I got rid of all our photographs and mementos from the relationship. We have not been able to meet since his accident because I have been unable to get time of work to go and visit and he is medically unfit to travel due to a brain injury that he is still receiving treatment for in the US. I would be grateful if anyone could advise me on what other documents we can provide when he has to file I-129f petition to substantiate the current relationship. We have seen each other within the last 2 years (last saw each other in Aug 2005) but other than my student visa stamp from that time, there is very little physical evidence to prove that we saw each other. I may be able to provide phone records and emails but other than that I do not have much further evidence. Can someone advise me on the best course of action?
