Forgive me if this topic has been touched on elsewhere. I read the FAQ and searched the forum for similar posts, but found nothing.
I am a college student in Helsinki, Finland. I want to attend school in the US, majoring in English. I’ve been accepted to a school and I have all of my finances/expenses taken care of. My one concern is the F-1 Visa interview:
I read that the number one reason for rejection is lacking ties to one’s home country/proof of intention to return. Unfortunately none of the FAQs I’ve read have mentioned any specific, proven documents that provide such proof of ties. Could any of you please tell me what plans/ties you presented during your F-1 interview that successfully earned you your visa? Or suggest any potential ties I could present to prove my intention to return?
