EU or USA

Post by Alexanderr » Mon Aug 06, 2007 6:06 pm

Hi. I'm from Romania (Bucharest), I have 25 and I work as IT Programmer and I'm not decided where to immigrate. If I stay in EU I will work in more countries (Germany, UK, Spain, etc) and I will "make" home in a cool city from EU (London, Munich, Prague, Madrid, etc); I don't know where to immigrate.

Rather than thinking you have a choice, why not look at the US immigration system and see if you qualify? Try the state.gov website, or the US embassy in Romania, and read about the requirements there. The US is a lot harder because you have to be highly skilled, whereas the EU - since you're an EU national, it might be easier for you to find work in countries with no restrictions on you, or you can apply for a work permit (e.g. UK). I don't think Spain has any restrictions?

Then you can try the US once you do meet the requirements.
