The story goes like that..

Post by white. » Mon Apr 14, 2008 11:24 pm

I am still in Australia with my boyfriend from the states, we're getting engaged soon, moving back to the states next year. I've seen my friend doing this and not being able to work or study for a long time, I hope that to not happen to me..

So first question, when could I apply for a green card, we'll just be fiances, do we have to get married to apply?

Second question, the not being able to do anything for at least 6 months, how do I escape that? I will have a job!

Third question, can anyone else sponsor me instead of getting married (if that's what I would have to do)?

I'll be getting my diploma in graphic arts, and I have diploma in some beautician course.

I've done alot of extra curricular activities that's very relevant to my field of study. I'm in some international design committee, I've worked small projects with design companies, done a couple of work experiences, not long though because work experience to Australians are like 2 weeks in each place. I'll be completing work experience in at least 3 places and that's 6 weeks in total. I'm 21. For my beautician course I've completed previously, I've worked for about 5-6 months, if it helps at all.

Thanks in advance.
