Filing US Taxes

Post by billabong1 » Fri Feb 28, 2020 11:55 am

Hello -
Needing some advice re filing US taxes from UK. Completed TurboTax but TT won't accept my US credit card because we have a UK billing address. Is there any way around this, or should we give up on the idea of using TT?

Thanks Very Much

Hello

I had to pay a US tax recently using a UK visa card. Their system don't all ZIP codes with letters are we have them in the UK. So my payment got declined. I call them and they took the payment over the phone.

I was in a different context than yours, but still the only way forward was to call.

Thank you - I might have to do that, although we don't owe, just need to pay for use of TurboTax and filing fee.
Thanks again
