Brith certificate and Police clearance cert for B2 visa

Hello,

I am an Indian passport holder in UK on work permit. I am applying for B2 visa on 13th April and I was reading the guidance for documents. My question is are Indian applying from UK required to show their birth certificate and police clearance certificate??

I have lost my birth certificate but have prov driving license (UK), school certs showing date of birth. Will that do?

I have travelled to US twice before 3 yrs back. They didnt require these then. I am just concerned if I really need these two docs then I will have to postpone my appointment.

I hope someone can share their experience.
