B1 Visa requirement for Tier 1 Visa holder

Hi,
I am currently on Tier 1 working as a contractor in a reputed auditing firm.

Because of a business reason, my current clients want me to travel to the US for a week in the month of January2011

I was just wondering if anyone could throw some light on the process / documents involved in obtaining a B1 Visa for US?


Any help in this regard is highly appreciated

With regards to my current nationality, I hold an Indian Passport. Do you think there will be some issues applying for a B1 visa from US Embassy in London?

Are there any additional documents that one has to provide apart from

a) Invitation Letter from the clients
b) Bank statements, personal and business
c) Letter from accountant stating the income amount for the last 1 year
d) Passport
e) Photograph as per US Visa requirement
f) Cover letter addressing to the Visa issuing officer
g) MRU payment receipt
h) Online filled in application form
i) Hotel booking details in US
j) Travel tickets (not sure if I should get them before visa being issued)
k) Anything else?

You should not make travel arrangements until you have the visa in your hand (this is also recommended by the US Embassy website).

I am in the same situation, came from India on Tier-1 Visa. I have limited company in UK and on contract with UK company. I need to travel to USA for a week to USA.

May i know the list of the documents that are required. I hope you might have traveled by this time to USA.
