PIO Card for Spouse

Hi,

Is there anyone who knows of any instance whereby a spouse of an Indian citizen/PIO was granted a PIO status despite his/her Pakistani heritage?

My fiance is a British born citizen and has never held any other residency/citizenship. Her parents, although British citizens, were once Pakistani citizens some 30 years ago. I am wondering if I can apply for a PIO card for her by virtue of her marriage with me, an Indian citizen.
