CGI, Birmingham contact no. OCI.

Just found this board. Have done a quick search but couldn't find it. Apologies if the information is already available somewhere else on this forum.

I recently applied for OCI miscellaneous service to transfer mine & my 12 year old son's visa onto new passport & new OCI cards for both.

I was tracking on the website, it showed that the processed & printed documents had arrived back in Birmingham on 17th Oct both for me & my son.

On 19th Oct, I sent our old & new passports & old OCI card by 2 separate special delivery posts. I also included separate special delivery envelope in each application for return of documents.

I received my passports & new OCI card yesterday, but haven't received my son's even today.

Should I be worried ? I have been trying to contact CGI, Birmingham by phone but haven't succeeded. Are there any tel numbers that easily gets you to the consulate ?

In your case - you sent passports and OCI cards separately and also included separate envelopes. These are being processed in the order they were received by the concerned departments. So a day or two delay is quite expected.
I would probably wait until atleast the weekend or Monday and then chase CGI.
