visiting visa or PIO Card For my baby Boy with British Passp

Hi there
Me and my wife holding Indian passport and our baby boy got British port via MN1 as i am having ILR.
My baby boy is unable to settle in a nursery here and countinusly suffering with cold,cough and health issues.
we have decided to leave the baby with my parents and in laws to look after in india and we will visit every 3 months.

so what is he best and fast way to get Indian visa ???i was reading in this form about many things and getting confused
please advice
visiting visa or PIO Card ???the baby will be in India for more than an year and we need to take him to india asap.

fast option is to apply for a visa and travel. You can apply for long term X visa for the child.
you can also apply for child's PIO from India.

thank you for the Reply and even if we take 1 year visiting visa (which is the max) we have to go out of the country after 6 months.
But i was not aware of applying PIO Card from india .Thank you for that.

One can apply for OCI or PIO in india as long as they have entered India with a valid visa (preferably longer term)
