Applying for OCI .. HCI or VFS ?

Hello guys...I have to apply for OCI,
Because of personal reasons I have to apply for OCI via post or online.. I cannot go in person. It wil be really great if you can follow this thread after your replies.

I have read many posts here yet need some clarifications.

Has VFS also opened OCI service ?
If yes
Can you guys tell me which service is better ... All the documents I send by post to either HCI or VFS safe ??? with VFS I did my surrender certificate by post and the service was excellent.

a)the traditional gov service
or
b)VFS ??

Please spare time to read my following replies and reply it looks like I have a number of questions after seeing the link if I choose this path
