Is my understanding correct

Recently naturalised and surrendered by passport and now looking to apply for OCI...just to confirm is my understanding below correct

- Complete the online form
- Book appointment and provide the printout of online form, fees and photos
- Copies of foreign passport, naturalisation and surrender cert.
- Wait for 6 weeks to get OCI.

- Do I need to provide a self addressed envelope as well?
- Do I need to provide original copies of any document, I mean not just showing but where they actually keep them ?

Do you/ anyone else know how long it takes for the originals to be returned. I have a OCI appointment on 10th and I am travelling to Europe on 27th.

Also I am traveling to India on the 18th May. Would that be enough time to get my OCI back or would I need to apply for an Indian visa?
