Renewal of British passports for children

Hi all,

Apologies in advance if this has already been answered somewhere on the forum.

My 3 children aged 14,10 and 7 (British passport holders with OCI cards) had renewed their British passports recently.

I updated their records online in September this year to reflect the new passport details. I haven't received email confirmation yet that their OCI records have been updated. However, when I checked the status on https://ociservices.gov.in/welcome it does say 'Your details have been updated in OCI records' (I have taken a print out of these)

I have also emailed: helpdesk-oci@gov.in on 29/11/2024 but there is no reply yet from their side.

I am travelling to India soon so just wanted to check if I should carry their old passports too?

Any guidance will be highly appreciated.
