Surrederance Processing Times

Hi All,

I applied for my surrenderance Certificate on 26th October via postal delivery. on 28th October my status showed. Application received at the Hayes, London. on 8th November: Application prechecked at the postal application centre hayes. on 11th : Application sent to HCI London for further assesment.
Its been nearly three weeks. They still havent processed my application, I'm kind of worried as i need to apply for my OCI card as soon as i get my Surrenderance Certificate. Doest anyone know, Surrenderance Certificate processing can take this long?? I heard its only take 10 working days for postal applications. mine is nearly 17 working days. still not sent my Surrenderance Certicate. Please advice me on this matter.

Prechecked VFS Hayes: 8th November
Sent to HCI London: 11th November
Processed Dcos back to VFS Hayes: 21nd November
Received by DX Courier : 22 November

Guys make sure you wouldnt choose DX courier as an option unless u've someone at home to receive it. Its a bit of hastle if you miss the delivery. Because they send it by DX Secure, in which they need signature for the delivery. Royal mail return envelop is highly recommended for Postal Applications.
