OCI application

Dear friends,

I have registered the OCI application online but I made a mistake in Place of birth (I need to put the place but instead I put India). I have already submitted the OCI application. Is there any alternative option to change.

I presume you have only submitted online but not at the HCI, in that case just complete another online application and submit the correct form.

Hi did HCI accepted new online application under the old reference number. I have got an appointment on Friday and just realized I have made a mistake in the online application form? shall I feel up new form or we can correct the old printed form manually once we go there.

Any reply would be of great help.

No they will not accept. You better be safe than sorry..
Complete fresh application. If you have an appointment booked. take both old and new form together, show old forma and appointment letter for entry and explain at counter, Hope they will happy to help

Hi all,

I have renewed my son british passport in this year April and he got OCI which was issued based on the old passport. Can I use the same OCI or do I need to apply for a new OCI.
